Hi, I’m Erik
Erik Keevan is a poet and writer living in Seattle. He is the writer of the books Obituaries for Terrible People, Before/After, the one act play Time to Kill, several horror stories featured in the Victorian Horror Troupe Phantasmagoria, and at least a dozen thank you and birthday cards. He apologizes for his terrible handwriting in that last one.
Early life
Mostly a mixture of depression, not taking care of myself, heavy drinking, and making poor life decisions.
Current
Not doing that.
Erik Keevan is an accomplished poet, playwright, and filmmaker. His poetry has been published in Brushings Literary magazine, his horror stories are performed by the Victorian Horror Troupe Phantasmagoria, he has numerous official selections for short film festivals, and he is also a hunk. I mean…look at him. That face. That classic bad boy tattoo thing he has going. Tasty.
Erik grew up in Worcester, Massachusetts, went to high school in Central Florida, got his BA in Writing and Theatre at Rollins College, then moved as far away as humanly possible to live in the Pacific Northwest. But would really love to live in London, so let him know if you have a lead for a job.
He has an adorable half sister who just turned 11, as well as two less adorable full siblings who are considerably older than 11.
When he’s not writing, Erik is normally working on audio production work in theatre and film, volunteering on the Crisis Text Line, reading indie comic books, and doing other things that aren’t quite as pretentious. He is an advocate for mental health, self-love, and taking care of yourself…even if that last sentence does sound a lot like masturbation.
Erik has a living will that leaves everything to his cat, Luna.
